HOW TO - How Pine Stall Works
Pine Stall pellets are your horse's own stall maintenance crew.
The pellets absorb urine and trap ammonia on contact like tiny sponges.
The wetness and ammonia of the urine is then eliminated through
evaporation. Once the pellets absorb the odor causing liquids they
expand to about four times their original size eagerly awaiting
their next round of work. This drying and deodorizing provides your
horse with a fresh, clean and healthy environment.
The initial application of Pine Stall is only 1-2 inches
in depth. However, when brought into contact with moisture the bed
soon expands to a depth of about six inches. While a bed with shavings
or straw looks deeper these products actually compress down to the
same depth as a Pine Stall bed. In many cases these products, because
they are less dense, get kicked to the edges of the stall leaving
less cushion than what is provided by a soft Pine Stall bed.
Because Pine Stall is all-pine, your stalls have a
clean fresh scent. You no longer have to endure the ammonia 'horse'
smell that has always been 'accepted' as part of being around horses.
Pine Stall is an improvement over traditional bedding
types anyway you choose to make a comparison. See the 'Benefits'
section of this site for more detail. Consider if you were given
the choice between using a typewriter or a personal computer to
create documents. The choice would be obvious. Choosing Pine stall
over traditional bedding types makes just as significant an impact
on your life when it comes savings in time and expense, and ease
of use. Read the 'Independent Research' section on our site to learn
more about why Pine Stall can immediately improve your lifestyle.
